Urban Screening 20156-7pm Friday 23rd October 2015
The Urban Screening is a national public video exhibition that debuted at the Perth Cultural Centre Screen during Architecture Week Western Australia 2014.
2015 Curatorial Statement: Through a program of videos screened in public open spaces, the sometimes inaccessible ideas around architecture are presented in the involving, visceral medium of video, to be discovered by the people of the city. The Urban Screening reveals the excitement, plurality and richness of ideas about living and working in the city, which are being explored and produced by architects, academics, students, and artists. This inclusive view of architectural work includes public and private buildings (built, unbuilt, and speculative), environmental and social propositions, spatial interventions, and design process material.
